World Health Day - Health for all

On April 7, 2023, the World Health Organization celebrates the 75th anniversary of World Health Day.

In 1948, the countries of the world came together and founded the WHO to promote health, make the world safe
and serve the vulnerable – so that everyone, everywhere can achieve the highest levels of health and well-being.
The 75th anniversary of the WHO is an opportunity to look back on public health successes that have improved the quality of life
during the last seven decades. It is also an opportunity to be motivated to take action to deal with health issues
challenges today and tomorrow.

The Institute for Standardization of Montenegro established the Technical Committee ISME/TK 014: Protection Technology
of health, which brings together experts, representatives of various interested parties from this field. Accompanying work
expert bodies of international and European organizations for standardization, the Technical Committee implements
the procedure for adopting Montenegrin standards that are identical to European and international standards.
So far, about 650 Montenegrin books have been published at the national level, through the aforementioned professional body
standards and related documents (MEST) in the field of health protection technology.
